RAHO-Somalia has an integrated, comprehensive introductory and operationally oriented approach, of the important issue of governance and its linkage with sustainable human development. 

The objective is local capacity strengthening to realize development that gives priority to the poor, advances women by applying the 8 components of good-governance: participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, consensus orientation, equity, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability, empowerment, cooperation, sustainability and security.

RAHO’s good-governance strategy is designing appropriate and local effective interventions to promote good- governance within the private, public and non-profit sectors in Somalia.
