About RAHO-SOMALIA (Organization)

RAHO-Somalia is an advocate for people affected by internal conflicts resulting forced displacements and the disruption of their livelihoods.
RAHO-Somalia puts strives increase awareness of community led peace building, reliable security and equal access to justice to maintain stable living conditions where people can do business to support their livelihood; children attend schools and restoration of normalcy in conflict zones.

The organization was established as a venue and tool to support and raise awareness for the destitute and deprived people of South Central Somalia affected by prolonged conflict  that are without access to basic services such as health, education, Agriculture infrastructures and development. Moreover, RAHO is engaged in the sectors of peace building and civic-education which are areas mainly not given priority but are the source of the problems led the Somali people get displaced, face hunger and develop child malnutrition.

RAHO Somalia has put more focus on peace building and conflict resolution to prevent displacements and destruction of livelihood; disruption of education where schools are closed and children miss learning opportunities.
RAHO is committed in working to support vulnerable and marginalized groups through humanitarian and development programs i.e Health, Food Security, Nutrition, Water & Sanitation, Protection, Legal Aid, Peace Building, Good Governance and Civic Education.

The organization has its headquarters in Mogadishu and field offices in  Kismayo, Afgoye, Jowhar, Galkayo and Baidoa,
